Michael Martinez and Hawke discuss J.R.R. Tolkien on this weekly broadcast/podcast.

This is the first in the series.

This show provides an introduction to the speakers, and an overview of The Children of Hurin.

WARNING:SPOILERS starting about 8 minutes into the broadcast. Michael provides a story overview, explains the evolution of the story and it's incarnations, and some of the process that led up to the creation of "The Children of Hurin" as it's own publication. The discussion also touches briefly on the Kalevala.
